Amazing service, presentation and creative cuisine!

First rate service (again) including a personalized menu to celebrate our daughter son-in-law’s wedding. Very happy to see familiar wait staff team kitchen who excel at personalized fine dining. Grilled octopus and steak tartare appetizers were delicious. Mostly waygou eye of rib dining tonight but my opting for the Texas Quail was flavorful and incredibly moist. Appreciate Garrison preparation for this wedding special occasion — always a “highest recommendation” to family friends.

We went to Garrison for our anniversary dinner and it surpassed my expectations. The food, service and ambiance were impeccable. Our server was awesome and made sure we had the best experience. The hostess was sweet enough to take our picture and wished us a happy anniversary. This may seem small, but I can’t count how many times I’ve made reservations at high end restaurants and notated that we were celebrating a special even and it went unacknowledged. When we got to the table, they had special menus wishing us a happy anniversary and even gave us a complimentary glass of bubbly, which was very thoughtful. We started off dinner with the Parker house rolls, which were amazing. I had to stop myself from eating all of them. I would highly recommend getting them. For dinner, I got the grilled Texas Quail and my husband got the Wagyu steak. My quail was delicious and very filling, but the wagyu steak was out of this world. We had the tater tots with arrayed Gruyère cheese and black truffles. OMG was this delicious. I was so full at this point, but we still ordered dessert. We shared the bourbon desert and that was also delicious. Overall I would highly recommend Garrison. The whole experience was exceptional and we will definitely come back next time we are in Austin.

The hostess and the manager did not submit our table request, although we respectfully ask ourselves about it, we were given for a table that was not used by everyone all night. feel that they have done much better.

LOVED our food! The steak was one of the best I’ve had in Austin, the flavor was so delicious and it was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the rolls, hasselback potato as well as the tater tots! The staff is extremely attentive and there were just a few other people dining.
