Citizen Eatery - Austin

Visited inn early May, 2022. My flame grilled tofu sandwich was flavorful and filling but just a bit too salty. The server, Dante was great. He gave me lots of suggestions for other vegan places to try on my trip and was very knowledgeable about Citizen’s menu. Updated from previous review on 2022 05 27

I'm a pescatarian, while my brother is a meat enthusiast, and this restaurant exceeded both of our expectations. The only downside for me was that the vegan cheese was mixed in with the regular cheese, but the queen snail nachos were absolutely amazing! I would give it a 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend it!

First of the brussel sprouts were so tipping good really everything I got the pesto pasta the citizens burger the brussel sprouts and the chocolate mousse I was just there once again, but definitely again. edit I was back and I have the tofu sandwich the mushrooms of the buffalo flower and the B.L.T. I did not like the blt, but all the other is well updated by previous review on 2022 07 29

I visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration, and I absolutely loved it. It's a fantastic choice if you're looking for a more elegant dining atmosphere rather than a food truck. I found the dishes to be more flavorful than those at any beer garden in the entire city.

Chips and queso hit the spot! Service was great! We just weren’t that impressed with the Citizen burger or the chik’n tacos. It was a good meal but it’s not on our “must go here every time we are in Austin” list.
