Buddy's Mexican Grill - Austin

I will not be returning to this restaurant. Although I initially enjoyed my visits, I recently experienced food poisoning after ordering tacos for breakfast. The tacos were unusually thick and the meat looked different than usual. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they had changed their menu. However, I paid $10.72 for two tacos, and the prices seem to constantly fluctuate. After eating them, I immediately started feeling ill, experiencing nausea, diarrhea, and other symptoms. I had to seek medical attention due to their negligence. I do not recommend this restaurant, as I believe their food products are not handled properly.

The restroom is extremely filthy and smelly, with the urinal discolored from urine and the wash basin dirty. There is also no hand soap available. Disappointing experience.

The first time I visited this restaurant 4 weeks ago, I had a good experience with great food and service. Today, I decided to give it another try but unfortunately, it did not go as smoothly. When I approached the front counter, the woman working there seemed to ignore me and instead focused on cleaning. I patiently waited for her to acknowledge me, but she continued to ignore me when I tried to ask about the menu. Feeling frustrated, I left without ordering. The restaurant is connected to a gas station, so I decided to grab a drink there instead. When I returned to the front counter about 5 minutes later, I noticed that the same woman who had ignored me was now serving someone else without any issues. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Most of these reviews were probably during the lack, surprised me how little understanding people have, but only complain. every burrito I bought was great. the queso and the guac were always good. one of my favorite spots with so small options in my opposite.

Went through the drive through to order tacos and ended up ordering a buikd a burrito which was ok. I ordered queso which was a small container that cost $4 bucks b/c i didn't just want a dry burrito.
