Raes Coastal Cafe

While Rae’s may be in an unusual location for many (within a apartment/townhome complex), it definitely stands out as a unique place to sit and dine in. The interior design is reminiscent of restaurants you would see at beaches along the southeast coast, much like the name implies. The menu features an array of tropical, Carribean, and southern dishes with an island flair, as well as daily specials on drinks and food. I tried the jerk chicken which came with rice and beans, as well as a remoulade. The jerk chicken was nice and tender and was well marinated. The service was great too. Our waitress was very attentive, was great to talk to, and had a bubbly personality. A star is definitely given just for her service, as it greatly impacted our overall experience. Would visit again in the future.

I had shrimp Pate appetizer, scallops with rice black beans main, chocolate cheese cake dessert. All delicious! Off the beaten path but easy with GPS. Great friendly service. Reserve a table! They have lots of Jamaican food (jerk chicken or pork etc . .

This was my birthday dinner with my man and it was taken over by gypsies. They roamed thru the restaurant not staying at their tables their kids were all over the place it was NOT appetizing at all.
