Koi Hibachi&sushi - Augusta

Reserving a table at this restaurant was a waste of time. Despite having an 8:30 reservation, when we arrived we found that there were 6 other parties with the same reservation time. As a result, we had to wait for an hour before being seated.

Our reservation at Koi was unexpectedly cancelled without notice for a 8:00 seating time. We arrived at 7:45 and were placed on a long waiting list. Despite people with 7:00 reservations not being seated yet, we decided to leave at 8:20. If Koi cannot honor reservations, they should not be accepting them. Although we enjoy Koi's food, we were disappointed by this business decision.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The soup was cold, the waiter was unsure of the menu, the smoked salmon was raw, and the steak was undercooked. The service was slow and I will definitely not be returning. The food was terrible.

Reservations from on were cancelled by Koi without notice. That included ours. We had no notification of the cancellation and got there We were put on a very long list to wait. There were people there with reservations that were not yet seated when we left at If they are not able to honor reservations, they need to remove themselves as available for reservations. While we love Koi’s food, this was not a good business move in my opinion.
