First I loved hearing Nepalese music in the background! that makes it a unique real experience. the manager was very friendly and helpful. 70% on their menu can be made vegan! I tried the Nepalese taco (mainly a roasted mash pool with vegetables = delicious fresh aromen) I also tried the vegan dessert. sweet cooked rice with which I love that we used to eat home in Germany again. this was with dates, rusty and was nice creamy. I couldn't finish all of them. so the half was my store for the next day. they even have a vegan letie. but I was too full to try it too!
I found this on happy cow (thx hc nepalese curry scurry. really delicious and healthy. was too busy on the first day we were in auckland, so the next day it went back to the opening. ordered the vegan mushroom and peas curry bowl, rotis, aaloo tama with black-eyed peas and bamboo shoots and thukpaa (a suppe with bok choy, nudel, tofu and more.) was really delicious, so we went back to dinner. all, but one of the remaining nights we had made in auckland so we could taste other dishes and enjoy the suppe again. yes, my man and I left this place. I highly recommend it. has two partners (one is the chef) from nepal, so it has both an Indian and Chinese influence. so good and very unique.
