Tanpopo Ramen - Auckland

Authentic restaurant. It loved it so much. The taste, texture and temperature were amazing. The ravens were the shoyu a $13) and for more $4 they offer a combination: dumplings and a bowl of rice. The craft beer was $9. All so good.

Food was a good tasting. The staff was very polite and happy. Great service and easy. Very recommended for casual food

The food of Rammen 2nd day in a row sets the 2nd place in a bad position. It must compete with someone who has already fulfilled the desire for Tonkotsu Ramen from yesterday. But Tanpopo did a great job! The Tonkotsu Chashu was so creamy, you thought you'd rather eat Spaghetti Carbonara. Service was fast and attentive, the Gyoza had plenty of meat in them as well as the rams. Only down that the egg was not cut in half and noodles also do not seem to be made by the restaurant (probably no restaurant in AKL does this). But apart from that, a very pleasant experience.

My Gf has been living in Japan for six months and I used to be in Tokyo. We both live in Australia and these are the best ravens we had outside Japan. Real AF. The gyoza tastes homemade, the side of the roasted rice was beautiful, peppery and loose. The ram broth was super balanced. The cook also brought us the food with pride, it was super sweet. When in the beginning unsafe, as the shop had only 3 employees and looked nice dingy, this was considered one of the best experiences Auckland has to offer!

Great place to get a decent bowl of classic Tonkotsu ramen (or something different, lots of choices to choose from! . Portion is very generous, super tasty (no artificial taste like some of the other places in the CBD and great value for money. I come here at least twice a month and find that the food and staff are always consistent. Can't fault it!
