The donburi was visually appealing and arrived in just five minutes. The tofu was beautifully glazed, and the salad was vibrant and fresh. I appreciated the balance of rice, protein, and vegetables, unlike many other places that serve mostly rice. The tofu was sweet and sticky from the sauce and starch batter, with a creamy texture thanks to its soft style. The salad was perfectly dressed without excess dressing pooling in the rice. The kimchi had a clean taste and leaned towards the fermented side. However, I did find the quinoa rice somewhat lacking, as there was barely any quinoa present, and the miso soup was quite mild, consisting mainly of white miso with just one or two pieces of wakame seaweed. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and left me feeling healthy, yet satisfied and full. I also decided to take some sushi from the cabinet home, pleased to find numerous vegan options. The sushi was light and had a good balance of vegetables and rice, along with a delightful crunch from the very fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this spot for those seeking a healthy, light, yet satisfying meal. It's a chic and cozy place tucked away in City Works Depot, making it a perfect location for enjoying some sunshine during the summer months while indulging in very Instagram-worthy food.
