Double Dutch Fries - Auckland

If you're looking for some excellent fries topped with a generous selection of extras, this is the spot for you! I tried the loaded fries with pink mayo and halloumi, and they were absolutely delicious—I couldn't finish the portion. The prices are reasonable, and there's nice seating available at the back. My only complaint is that towards the end, the fries became a bit too salty for my liking, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I tried their large fries with Dutch mayo, and they are absolutely delicious! The fries are incredibly crispy and thick, packed with real potato goodness rather than just being greasy. The mayo is creamy and even has a cheesy flavor—I wonder if they mix both together. The service was excellent, and the wait time was minimal. Always go for the large size! I had these fries at Britomart, where they have food trucks every Friday.

DELICIOUS! Tried these yesterday at the Coatesville Markets during a torrential downpour. As upsetting as the rain was, these fries made my day. So crunchy, so soft, SO DELICIOUS!

We came on the day that they did a one-off collaboration with Peach’s Hot Chicken. There was about a 15-20 minute queue and wait, but it was definitely worth it.<br/ <br/ The chicken was light, crispy and not weighed down with oil, with plenty of flavour on the skin. The fries paired really well with the chicken and I loved seeing the staff slice up the potatoes right in front of us, proving just how fresh they really were. The fries were doused with a creamy cheese sauce which was delicious. Overall, a great meal and the staff seemed well-prepared for a busy day.

But the burgers were the highlight. I had heard about Wise Boys, but this was my first time trying their food, and it certainly lived up to the hype! I ordered the “fish” burger while my husband went for the “chicken.” The “fish” burger was fantastic; it was coated in a delicious batter that truly made it taste like a great burger. The best part was the cheese—I've never tasted vegan cheese like that before! This is definitely a must-try! And if you happen to miss the Wise Boys pop-up, make sure to seek them out another time!
