Absolutely amazing! Truly worth the price! It's a top-notch fine dining experience with an incredible tasting menu. The only item I wasn't fond of was the cauliflower with almond milk; it felt underwhelming and could either be removed or reimagined to match the creativity of the other dishes. Everything else was fantastic! The standout dishes were definitely the desserts—made with heart and effort. It's a must-visit spot before it potentially closes!

Entering through the bar, we were immediately impressed by the dining area, which featured flowing curtains and distinct sections for each dining space. Once seated, the sommelier approached us with excellent drink recommendations. The menu allowed us to create our own three-course meal from a variety of dishes, accompanied by canapés and bread. The first canapé was particularly intriguing—a tribute to oysters elegantly presented on smoking rocks. They also offered a nod to New Zealand with their take on "fish and chips," paired with "L&P" soda. The food was captivating and entertaining. The names of the dishes were quite mysterious, but the presentation was superb. Most importantly, everything was delicious. The octopus and rhubarb truly stood out as exceptional dishes, both incredibly tasty and unforgettable. The mandarin dish also ranked high on my list. It’s disheartening to hear that this restaurant is closing its doors, as it truly deserves its reputation as one of the top dining spots in Auckland.

I visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner and was truly impressed by the quality of the food. Each dish was innovative, beautifully presented, and made with sustainable ingredients, all executed to perfection. It's unfortunate that the restaurant will be closing soon, but I'm glad I had the chance to experience it before it does.

I had dinner at Clooney on a special day and ordered the restaurant month 'Build your own ' menu.<br/ <br/ All the dishes were amazing and had their own distinctive tastes. I especially love the steak which was cooked to perfection and it compliments well with the super tender shiitake mushroom and stunning sauce beneath it. The combination is just heavenly and It 's probably the best steak dish I 've ever had.<br/ <br/ The dining experience is very unique and it has a very elegant atmosphere. The waitress also did a great job by giving introduction to the dishes served. The only thing I would suggest is to have one dessert instead of two, as the second dessert seems a bit excessive. Nevertheless it was a top-notch dining experience.
