Avenue 28 Pizza - Auckland

I've encountered some of the friendliest staff here compared to many countries and restaurants I've visited. The customer service is excellent. The food is very good; however, the bread could have been larger. My plate had a few black spots on it when it was served, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. Still, it would be better if the plates were cleaned more thoroughly or not used if they aren't in good condition. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Thank you, Avenue 28! I had a lovely Saturday brunch with my husband and uncle. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We highly recommend the sun-dried pappardelle and the three-egg omelettes. We’re looking forward to returning for Currynacht on Tuesday. Can't wait! Keep up the great work, guys!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three-course meal here and highly recommend the lamb. A big shoutout to the chef for an excellent job! However, the atmosphere felt a bit lacking; perhaps they could play a variety of music and incorporate some plants and contrasting artwork to liven things up. Overall, it was another fantastic dining experience, and we will definitely be back.

I had a very nice time tonight. It was calm. Waitress was politely attentive and well spoken. The food was delicious. Had duck with couscous and my partner had fish of the day. And the pizza-yummy! We love pizza and the base was exactly how a base should be, crispy! Very happy customers. Only critics would be a little sweet to the cousin. But the side loved the court absolutely.

Changed from Italian to Greek. Service good and did do gluten free pizza and limited pastas. Food we had was fine but not exciting. This had been one of our favorite restaurants.
