Durango Taqueria Y Carniceria - Auburn

This was my first time ordering food from this restaurant. We were extremely pleased. The young man working at the register was so sweet and down home. One of the dishes that we ordered was the shrimp tacos. The shrimp were huge and quite tasty. We will definitely be patronizing them again.

Fresh ingredients, and nice people. Waited patiently while we asked questions about the menu, do recommend.

Hands down my favorite authentic taco spot in Auburn. Family owned/operated. Staff is always nice. If you’re rich, you could possibly hate this vibe, but if you love the hole in the wall atmosphere and good eats, this a place for you.

The food is phenomenal here, I especially love the tacos and the chilaquilles! Below is a photo of the latter, it's become a Sunday morning tradition.

So far it's the most authentic mexican food and street tacos in Auburn. Staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you for the recommendations in Birmingham.
