Tacorita - Auburn

The restaurant was quite busy, so I might have just made the wrong choices on the menu, but I wasn't particularly impressed. I think the more Americanized options like chicken and cheese tacos might be better to try. We started with the queso, but it lacked flavor, and the chips were stale. I ordered the ahi tuna taco and the pork belly taco; the ahi tuna was overly salty, but the pork belly taco was delicious! On a positive note, the service was friendly, and the spicy margarita was refreshing and well-made!

We also shared some chips with queso and salsa. The salsa had a slight tang but was still delicious. The queso, on the other hand, was creamy, gooey, and truly the highlight of our meal. We ordered a pitcher of strawberry margaritas; although the drink was quite light and pre-mixed, it was refreshing. All in all, we enjoyed the tacos and the food. Priced around $3+, they are a great value considering how generously stuffed they are. I would definitely come back!

Visited during the week on a business trip. Had three tacos and a drink for a fair price. Definitely try the brisket taco. Looks like there's a decent selection of beer too.

Decent enough tacos but just way too expensive for what you get. Head to a real Mexican restaurant like Taqueria Durango for the real thing--street tacos that are very well priced.
