Angelica's Bistro - Atotonilquillo

Panino Deli, next door was busy as always, so we stopped in to Angelica's Bistro for something different. The place is very quiet and clean but lacks atmosphere. Service was attentive. Prices are competitive and the menu selection is fairly broad. We shared their house salad which was filling. My wife had spaghetti with a rather watery bolognese sauce. My veal parmigiana was so so. The meat was mushy. We will return to Panino, even if we have to wait for a table.

No dried pasta at this establishment and it shows. The pesto crudo is not like the usual pesto. Instead it's mixed with chopped tomatoes & grated Parmesan. Just the best. The restaurant is not fancy but it's spotlessly clean with a friendly waitress. You can also get pasta, sausage, lasagna, etc. to go. Not open for dinner.
