Old Homestead Steak House

That was fantastic! We started with the tuna and Bang Bang shrimp, both of which were delicious. For dinner, I had the 18 oz filet mignon Oscar style, which had one of the most generous portions of Oscar topping I've ever encountered at a steakhouse. I also enjoyed the cream spinach and lobster mac and cheese on the side. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, which was much larger than it appears in the photo! I definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you're staying at the Borgata.

This is a fantastic steakhouse! Be sure to make a reservation, as even on a Wednesday night, they were quite busy. There were three of us, and we shared the New York sirloin, sea bass, and a side of macaroni and cheese. We were completely satisfied, but we managed to save some room for the drunken banana dessert, which was amazing. My brother ordered the wobbly soup and mentioned it was delicious as well.

For our main courses, my family and I ordered the sea bass and the lamb rack. The lamb was sizeable and packed with flavor, making it perfect for sharing. The meat was tender and expertly cooked, accompanied by creamy potatoes and a delightful sauce. My only minor critique would be that the dish could have used a touch of sweetness, as the overall flavor was quite rich, but it was still impeccably seasoned. As for the sea bass, it lived up to the hype. My aunt, who ordered it, absolutely loved it. I had a taste, and it practically melted in my mouth. The crispy skin provided a beautiful contrast in texture that kept things interesting. I’d say it’s one of the best fish dishes I've had on the East Coast, although I usually gravitate towards garlic, crab, or lobster when it comes to seafood. Overall, the portions for the soup and lamb were much larger than I anticipated, and even with three of us, we struggled to finish most of the sides and two main courses. The service was fast and efficient, ensuring we had a positive experience. Thanks again!
