I have bone mark, that was the only thing I didn't have a big fan of (which was not very fat). then I've let her bacon ballet stack on the steak. Finally we got the brotpudding for dessert and it was extremely moist and delicious! would definitely come back.
I made this reservation to celebrate our annual day. I mentioned it in the reservation as they are asking that they celebrate something. I mentioned it again when we checked in, and again on our server. I don't necessarily expect anything, but why ask if there is no confirmation at all? it was restaurant week in atlantic city that we knew. we have eaten several times at vic anthony before everything is perfect. this time it wasn't great. they have now clamped the place so that it is too busy and loud. I can't believe how many times my seat has been in the people, including the severs. I thought I'd watched something on the back. our server seemed very hurried and therefore less than attentive. Although the restaurant weekly menu does not indicate substitutions and the suppe lobster bisque was, I explained that I am allergic to seafood, I could just get a bit iceberg salad. That's crazy, but I was told I could have a Caesar salad, but not a simple salate. I said it doesn't matter to me to just give my suppe. that never happened, he only brought one and that was 1/2 full. it also looked down watered it was so thin. the filet was delicious and perfect, the kartoffels were good, but only lukewarm. we had to remind the server that cheesecake was included for dessert. we wanted more butter for the brot, it never came. overall no great experience and very disappointed.
My man and I went to dinner tonight for restaurant week. it was a set menu. lobster bisque followed by filet mignon and cheesecake. the atmosphere was beautiful. we've been eating there. the bisque was good, although you could taste sherry (alcohol) that could have been boiled. our steaks were well cooked, but I realized when I was almost finished that the advertised sauce was missing. the flesh could have used it. the sides were delicious. then we were served a bare piece of cheesecake. when you order the menu, it comes with sauce. we wanted and got sauce. I have eaten in many restaurants in the past restaurant weeks and this experience did not want to come back. we had a gift card we wanted to use for a part of the meal. that seemed to be a big problem that was finally solved after a long wait.
One of the best restaurants I've visited for a long time. the steak was perfect and the dessert was devine
Vic and Anthony's is an ac restaurant week staple of mine, all though this years meal is off to a weak start. The menu this year is non. There is no need. One choice, filet. It's cool though, that's what I prefer anyway. The lobster bisque was long on bisque and very short on lobster. Filet was tasty however I noticed smaller portions. Thanks to the woke worm in the White House. Shrinkflation. I may be in an over critical mood but the side of creamed spinach was salty. Next up cheese cake. Bland. Service was great though
