My wife and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. It was our second visit and we were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it. It has become one of our favorite places to dine. The service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. The menu offers a wide variety of options, with small plates that you can order until you are full. They have hot and cold appetizers, Japanese BBQ skewers, entrees, sides, sushi, and dessert. The wine selection is nice and reasonably priced. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant - you won't be disappointed.

My experience at Izakaya was fantastic! Our server, Paul, was amazing. We were seated in a cozy spot on a comfortable couch near the entrance next to the wine room. The ambiance was dark and peaceful, yet still bustling with energy. We ordered a variety of small plates to try the highlights of the menu. The sushi was good, but the noodles from the Monday special stole the show. The BBQ was delicious, especially the salmon and Korean BBQ rib. The Kani salad was also delightful. We ended up taking some food to-go because I ordered too much, but I wanted to try everything. We didn't opt for the tasting menu, as my boyfriend wasn't interested in such a large meal. The sushi dessert was fantastic as well. We will definitely be returning soon! Izakaya is now my favorite restaurant in Atlantic City.
