Back Bay Ale House - Atlantic City

I was referred to this place and I am glad I went. It was my birthday weekend and i wanted some where to go that was outdoors and had a great vibe. The food was awesome. The music was mellow and perfect for the weather that was gorgeous. Jack was a great bartender. If you are looking for a great outdoors place to eat, then this is the place to be in Atlantic City!

Decided to fall after an afternoon dolphin watching cruise. We immediately sat in the beautiful outdoor seating area. The menu is quite expansive with so many interesting dishes on the menu, it was really hard to choose. We decided to start with the Clam-Chowder and for Entrees we chose the seafood samplers and shrimps, crabs and Broccoli alfredo. The Chowder was exactly what we needed after a 3 hours boat tour?hot, creamy and tasty. The shrimps and fish were good in the seafood sample, but the crab cake was much too fishy tasting for me. The Alfredo was delicious. I ordered a frozen margarita that packed a good blow. We enjoyed the ambience and service as a whole. Will definitely come back and try other items from the menu.

The food and drinks were really good. The atmosphere was open and fun. I got the seafood cobb salad and it was to die for. Everyone at my table loved their food. The drinks were fun and big.

Cookie went beyond and beyond in the back bay. We definitely recommend to ask them if you stop! Our hostesses were also very nice. They asked if we wanted to sit on the deck or down. Immediately after reading reviews, I knew to request the top deck. From the 32 ounces drinking in a masonry glass to the burgers to many other things we were very satisfied with our experience! We definitely recommend the back bay and we will be back!

The crab cream soup was particularly good, the lemon was made to blande, the portion was slow, child-friendly, cheap, will return.
