The Kings Head - Atherstone

A decent pub visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it's not my first time here. I know it's great to enjoy a fantastic drink. The place is clean, tidy, and warm, making it perfect for bringing friends along. The staff is always friendly.

After a long walk, we were delighted to find that 7 had made a reservation for us! All the waitresses were incredibly attentive, and we received our drinks almost immediately. Our waiter, Suzy, was exceptional and truly impressive. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, especially the house-made chili nachos (the image is fitting!). The setting was lovely, right beside the canal, and the atmosphere was inviting. I can't recommend this pub highly enough, whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or planning a meal with a group. We will definitely return if we're ever in the area again!

I had a lovely lunch on Saturday and ordered a chicken sluice. We decided to just snack in the bar area since we had our dog with us. Despite that, the staff provided us with table service, which was really nice! The atmosphere was very friendly, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. This is definitely a place I would like to visit again.

The food here is fantastic. Lots of variety and vegitarian options too. Great beer and fantastic staff, the best dishes I've had so far is the steak and Ale pie the potato and leek soup and the share platter. It's a very nice and homely pub and dog friendly too, sits on the canal and mournings can be booked and reserved.
