South Kitchen and Bar - Athens

We went for brunch and I had the Green Tomato Benny! It was cooked to perfection! The crunchy combination was amazing! The English muffin was toasted the prefect amount and the bacon was fantastic too. The fried green tomato on it was best fried green tomato I have had in Athens and lets not leave out the delicious poached egg! I highly recommend and I do believe we are going back next Sunday to do it again!

Had the Good Old Boy salad topped with fried chicken. Absolutely superb! Had the trout dip appetizer and it was excellent.

We cannot thank Calley Payne and the South staff enough for all the planning, hard work and perfect execution of our engagement party last evening!! The Arch Room is an amazing space for parties; the food is outstanding and the wonderful bartenders poured the most fabulous cocktails! Again, we just wanted all of you to know how much we appreciated your efforts!! Also, I feel certain South Kitchen will have several new patrons as a result!

The food is high quality and tastes great! Brunch is served until 3 on Sundays. They have unique menu items and drinks. The Chai martini was incredible!
