Siri Thai Cuisine - Athens

I go to restaurants because I love good, authentic food. Siri Thai had great food at a reasonable price. I took my girlfriend here for a nice dinner. We had an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $30. Everything tasted great. The service could have been a little better. Our appetizer came extremely late, and it took some time to get our drinks refilled. I did only see two people working though. Overall, it was a classy place with a small but friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. I'll be back.

The restaurant is severely understaffed and prioritizes take-out orders over dine-in customers, so don't expect top-notch service if you choose to dine in. The entrance can be confusing, as the restaurant is on two levels and the top door is locked, but the food is worth it. The tropical fried rice and tofu curry are delicious, and the staff is friendly. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food came out quickly and at a reasonable price. I would recommend this place for take-out only.

Four years ago, we stumbled upon this restaurant on the east side of Athens. We still enjoy it to this day. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and the staff is friendly. We love our food traditionally Thai hot, and they always know how we like it without us having to ask. Our favorites are the duck and Singha beer. The lunch menu offers plenty of choices with smaller portions, while the dinner menu has larger portions that are a bit more expensive but well worth it. We always enjoy our leftovers.

The lunch selection at this restaurant is nice. I tried the Gra-Team with tofu at a level 2 spiciness and it was perfect for me. My boyfriend ordered the appetizer sampler before our entrees, but the server couldn't tell us what each item was and didn't make an effort to find out. It seemed like she was more lazy than new. I accidentally ate a bite of a chicken spring roll, which was fried like everything else in the sampler. It wasn't a big deal, but the server should know what she is serving. Despite this, my entree was really good so I give it 4 stars. I would go back again, but I would ask for a better explanation of any mystery samplers in the future.
