Schlotzsky's - Athens

One of my favorite places to eat in Athens! The food is great, and the service is excellent!

If there's one chain restaurant you absolutely have to try in The Classic City, it's Schlotzsky's. It's definitely deserving of that title.

I really wish there were more places like this! I miss dining here from when I used to live in the area. They always serve the best bread with a wonderfully crispy bottom crust. My favorite is the deluxe original, which is generously filled and topped exactly to my liking.

Definitely recommend! Very much enjoyed the food. Ordered a small sandwich and was surprised it was the size of a regular sandwich anywhere else. Pre pandemic I would think the price, 6.99, a little high but I guess the price reflects the world we are living in today. Also, due to staffing shortages, had a bit of a wait for the sandwich. Again, would definitely recommend.

Stopped here to get lunch and the food was awesome. First time eating here and I will definitely be coming back again.
