Athens Cafe

Always my choice. Good food, good service, generous portions.

We met a friend there for breakfast on October 9. The buffet was wonderful and we went back ourselves the next Sunday. This past Sunday our kids came with us and our son-in-law ate his first ever omelet. He will be back, as will we. We drive 40+ miles to have breakfast. Will be down to try lunch or dinner soon.

I absolutely love Athens Cafe. The food is consistant and always good. In my 15 years of coming here there has been only 1 time that the taste was off. I just mentioned it in passing and they comped my meal. I argued because that wasn't my goal of bringing their attention to it, but they wouldn't take my payment. Good folks, great service, and good, homestyle cooking.

We had breakfast at the restaurant, where my husband and kids enjoyed the buffet while I opted for an omelet. I absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, and the staff was extremely friendly. We visited on a Saturday morning around 8:30-9:00 and didn't have to wait at all, which was fantastic.
