Not their traditional Bosnian cuisine. the place is guided by an American who has no idea what traditional Bosnian food is. burek is much bigger than what we have. the photo is of two tons size burek, which was not even very good. he accuses the men's $24 for what's on the picture. I'm a Bosnian American and that's an insult to what this guy sells! please believe me and stay away!
We had the place for ourselves for an early Friday dinner and were thrilled by the charm and friendly service. we both had pita, I tried the vegetarian spinat, and my sister had the meat. the server brought us a delicious spread of appetizers while we waited and we enjoyed the fruit water. the pita was waiting very worth it! large portions and so good. they had several vegetarian dishes. we split a piece of baklava to finish and it was also very good. highly recommended!
A very special place. our waiter was great and full of Bosnian and Eastern European hostage. eating was stupid good and all cooked by a spicy Bosnian woman. this is not an ice-cream place, so they don't come here if they expect a fast meal, but if they are looking for a cultural experience and really great eating as they can expect from a home kitchen, they can't go wrong.
I have dined at Drina Daisy numerous times over many years. The food has never disappointed. I feel transported to another time and place when I go there. The food is so lovingly prepared, it’s almost like dining in a private home. The service is friendly and knowledgeable.
