Hero Thai Izakaya - Astoria

Easily one of my favorite restaurants. I ordered the Sirloin Steak Katsu Curry dish and OMG it was one of the best curry dishes I've ever eaten. Lots of choices they had looked amazing. I've also tried their spring rolls, their lychee iced tea, and the salt chili pepper crispy pork belly curry. All very tasty! Would def go back to try more dishes.

I love Hero! I used to visit in person often when I worked close by. Now a days I order it home. The food is always fresh and consistent. The Mango Sticky rice is my guilty pleasure :)Food: 5/5

We were looking for a good spot for dinner on Broadway. We decided to check out this Thai and Asian spot. I ordered the ramen that has the coconut milk base and let me tell you that this was out of this world!!! So much flavor, I've never had such a sweet and savory ramen before. I love this place!! The waiters were very nice and the spot looked quite nice inside. I would definitely come back here again!!

I am a regular at this establishment and come here at least twice a week for lunch, the staff know me by name.Came here today for lunch the place was busier than normal. I sat for around 20 minutes before someone came over to the table. Eventually, a lady with short black hair seemed to be a new worker came over to the table with a horrible attitude. I gave her my order and wanted something substituted with the curry (which I always get and it’s never a problem) she told me she can’t do that. She had a nasty attitude and for this I left. Because she made me feel I was not wanted after being such a loyal customer to this place. I will not be returning to hero Thai. I will find a new Lunch spot. You should really educate your staff on customer service. All the other staff are so pleasant and friendly and it’s such a shame one lady ruined that for me. She was working 7/3 for the lunch shift. I couldn’t catch her name because when I asked she ignored me
