Uniontown Brewing Company - Ashland

We had heard a mix of opinions about your restaurant, so we decided to check it out ourselves. Overall, we had a good experience—the waitress was friendly, although it seemed like the kitchen was a bit slow during the lunch rush. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the beer this time. The sandwiches were tasty, but I found myself wishing for a classic hamburger with a well-prepared patty instead of a dressed-up version with kale and a thin, overcooked patty. The freshly cut fries, however, were cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere was lovely. It's clear that more attention is paid to the beer selection than the food. If you approach this place as a bar serving bar food, you won't be disappointed. That said, there are currently faster options for sandwiches elsewhere. I want to note that their children's menu is quite nice as well. We'll definitely give it another shot as you continue to grow and improve, and I'll be sure to update my review. We really want to support local businesses like yours and hope to see you succeed! Update: We returned for another visit, and my husband tried the beer this time. He enjoyed it! We ordered two burgers from the menu, but the UBC came without bacon, and the egg was overcooked. The fries were still very good, and the pig sled looked appetizing. However, I still believe this place isn't quite ready to be labeled a restaurant; it's more of a bar with bar food. For now, I'd recommend stopping by for a flight and a plate of fries, but that's about it.

This charming brewhouse is located in beautifully restored older buildings. I stopped by for lunch and was seated right away. The host and waitress were extremely polite, and my food arrived quite quickly. I ordered the cooked salad, which was an interesting twist with the romaine lettuce, but it actually worked well. Everything tasted fresh and was reasonably priced. I would definitely return!

During our trip through Ohio, we decided to stop at Uniontown Brewing, and I'm really glad we did! We tried both the Jupiter Burger and the BBQ Burger, and they were fantastic. The beers were equally impressive, with the standout being the 1850 stout. The service was excellent as well. I noticed they are expanding the dining area, which is exciting. I enjoyed my experience at Uniontown Brewing so much that I ended up buying a few tasting glasses and a 32-ounce beer to take home with me.

I had lunch yesterday with my daughter and the food was good and the beer was amazing. We had excellent service. I love what they have done with the old Gilbert Furniture Store. It looks really good. I brought home a 32oz growler for $5. What a bargain! Will definitely be back!
