Staff are always friendly and food is delicious and I have never had a bad meal there. we used to sit down stairs in the banquetet seats in the corner and the quiz nights were fun and the meat raffles. We usually eat in the Restaurant upstairs now as it can be difficult to find a table downstairs.. Great atmosphere, bistro food is good great old pub...
A nice pub which has bistro attached. holds various evening events such as quiz night and meat raffles, good fun. Noi is a good hostess
This hotel was close to where we stayed so popped in for a counter pub lunch. It was very enjoyable
Great bar downstairs for locals and for drinks after work, and a great lounge/dining room upstairs. Food was tasty and staff professional and attentive. Not far from central station and only quick walk from museum station or Paddy's Markets. Recommended for both drinks and evening meal.
This review is for the bar. So I stayed nearby and passed in on a Saturday. It was good for people watching and a live band. Completlety different story from our Sunday night experience. Me and my husband had passed by the bar initially to find a cafe to grab food. Since nothing was open we attempted to stop by on the way back since we had been the night before. The bouncer (who was of black decent) decided I (Mexican American) was fine but my husband (Asian American) was "too drunk" to enter. By no means were we drunk or close to it. After me pointing out to him that there was a guy inside that could not even stand on two feet, I quickly realized he was discriminating against my husband. After realizing this I asked politely to speak to his manager but after he blocked the entryway I decided I would write a review instead of making a scene. I would definitely not support this estaishment.
