No. 19 Society - Ascot Vale

Around the corner from my brothers places and managed to squeeze in two trips on a recent visit to Melbourne. After 24 hours on a plane I needed a superb coffee to get me started again and this place delivered! The food was excellent and fresh. Not cheap but well and truly worth it for a good quality breakfast and delicious coffee.

Brunch was really good, we had pulled pork and Detox breakfast and it was really nice. the store it self was really nice and relaxing!

I am not too sure why it's called No.19 but everything else in here just makes sense to me and any passionate foodie.Located on Union road this venue not only offers great food but it also has the perfect atmosphere for a sweet brunch. We ordered their detox breakfast bowl and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The food was superb, light, nutritious and it was the perfect serving size. Service was spot on but the highlight was the actual venue, we fell in love with it. Thank you for having us

Great new addition to Union Road coffee strip. The only coffee place offering fresh filter pour over. Love it! Food is fresh & prepared with great flavor & presentation. Will come back regularly

I had the No 19 Benedict for breakfast, which is pulled pork on two pieces of sourdough, with apples, two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The flavour of the eggs and hollandaise get lost in the pork and apples, and while they don't taste 'wrong' together, they don't taste entirely 'right' together either. I got the impression they are trying to be too different to the point where there is nothing special about the flavour of the meals.
