Ventana Grille - Arlington

Food was consistently good. I enjoy eating, but you can also go and order food like a snack bar.

We are at Tierra Golf Course at least twice a week for our son, so we usually visit Ventana Grille, at least for a quick drink. The chips and Queso are a good snack. The chicken strips are a sanctuary for my son, and I personally like the Burrito dish. You have a full bar, though not with your drink order, as they usually don't have basic drinks or are equipped for everything that's just good for us! They run food specialties daily, but I would like to see a regular happy hour! They are rarely busy so you usually get quick service.

Wow, what a disappointment. There was no service. The staff never refilled drinks. After about an hour I went in to get a coffee refill and our food sat under a heat lamp. It wasn't hot. My father told them the onion rings were cold. You said I'm sorry, but didn't offer to get hot. The chicken fried steak was hard and overcooked and beans were cold, we went so we could eat outside with my older parents. Was nice outside food was terrible,

I can't recommend this place anymore. Earlier it was amazing and the past year it went downhill (also previd). All staff seems to be teenagers with a lack of experience. I've never seen a manager on site. They have children with drinks that are always subpar. Either absolutely no alcohol or much too much. It is discouraging to pay $12 for margaritas that are either so bland or so stout you can 't choke it down. The food seems now as if they simply take it out of the freezer and microwave it. We recently had a table of 6 and sat for 1 hour 30min before we finally got up and asked them to take our order. They only had a waitress and it wasn't that busy. I ordered a chicken fried steak and while they put the food on the rest of the table they brought a dry steak and told me they were made of gravity... They offered another sauce I had never heard of. Seriously? You can't just engraving? My 8-Jo son knows how to make Gravy. Only what this place is good is to grab a beer after the golf. (mainly because it is in a can and they cannot change the taste) Pass for food. It's a shame.

Absolutely wonderful. We had a private event on the patio. There were about 30 of us and the staff did great. I had the burger and it was cooked to perfection. I have lived in the area my enite life and I cannot believe I've never been. Would eat here again.
