We caught a double-basketerie board since it was my lady, me and 3 kids. DELICIOUS! The children ate it and then went out to explore with other children who were there. Our wine selection of sweet wines was excellent. Although all wines were not produced here, the wine was FANTASTIC! The other wines produced most in Texas were equally satisfied! Over the whole price, atmosphere, attention and suggestions was a great experience. We'll be back. You can also get there a bit earlier and go on the bike and hiking trail. We also enjoyed it, but our timing was out and couldn't stop it when darkness turned in. Bring your children, animals and family! It won't disappoint.
I like this little winery, there was plenty of outdoor seating, secluded cute areas, as well as the indoor section. There's a creek on the side by the main building, a little deck, and nice views. We had a mixed charcuterie box and a grilled Italian sandwich, along with the house rose' and a seasonal white wine...both were very good. We brought our pups along, and they enjoyed being out in the sun and meeting other doggies that were there too. Service was great, staff were friendly, and the charcuterie was outstanding, with so much variety, including blueberry cheeses, cayenne honey, and lots more. They also have live music events, so check it out!
We had such a good time at Lost Oak. We came on a very pleasant Sunday afternoon in February and enjoyed a flight and a glass of wine on their patio. It was lovely. I can only imagine how pretty it is in the spring when all the plants and trees are green. The wines were good, the service was excellent, and we were really impressed with the location. A flight is $14.01 and is a good opportunity to sample a few of their offerings. We will be back in the spring and excited to check out some of their trails.
Went to prom here 2 years, beautiful venue inside/outdoor, the bridge over the pond in the back of the venue is a great photo op at sunset! (not a huge venue)
Came here for just a girls day out, and actually had a good time. I'm not an experienced wine drinker so the wine tasting was something different to do. It's was pretty breezy but they had fire pits and it was just right for the weather. They have a huge inside space but opted for the outdoor seating area which was nice. The only thing I would suggest for them to have more places to sit your drinks and food on. We had to find a few side stands to make it work for three of us. You can by the wine as a tasting, by the glass or by the bottle. We went for the tasting first. Got the semi-sweet and we also did the Merlot. You also have the option to buy a pre made charcuterie board with different cheeses, meats and fruits. It was a pretty good board. I'm not a wine drinker so I thought the wines where just okay to me, It still was a nice experience.
