As a result, it?s been a while since I?ve had one of my guilty pleasures?a nice juicy hamburger with fries. Today, I decided to reward myself with one from The Original Chop House Burgers (1700 West Park Row, Arlington) from Chef Kenny Mills. Today is their second day back in the original location off Park Row. If you have never been, or it?s been a while like me, go show them some love and help support a small business in our community. They have more room to sit (than old location on Little Rd) and the burgers are great! I can say my visit was definitely worth the indulgence, but now I will have to hit the gym later! ????. Keep up the great work Chef!
We each had The Chop House Burger and shared an order of Onion rings. The burger was outstanding! Absolutely outstanding! The onion rings were crispy and very tasty. Best burgers in town IMO.
This is a unique little restaurant that may not catch your eye from the outside, but as soon as you step inside, the delicious smell of food greets you. The decor inside is nice, although the chairs could be more comfortable. The spacing is good, and during my lunch visit, it felt very relaxed. There is only one bathroom, which could be an issue if the restaurant is busy. The food was excellent, although on the pricier side. Even the cheapest meal on the menu cost me 11 dollars. The BBQ sauce was a bit bland, but the fries were fantastic.
The Chop House Burger is fantastic! It is delicious and juicy, though a little greasy. I highly recommend trying the brisket beef combination burger, especially with double meat. The onion rings are excellent, and the fries are tasty and freshly made. The only downside is the lack of variety in the sauce department. There was no dipping sauce offered for the onion rings, and the BBQ sauce was thin and lacked flavor. I suggest using Stubbs BBQ sauce instead. Also, the prices are on the higher side. The fries are small and individual portions, but the onion rings can be shared. Overall, a great dining experience with a few minor improvements needed.
Well for me it was not a good experience. First my meat was burned and there was no brisket as stated they mix in the meat. On a good note, fries were great and fresh! Once you walk in there is a funny smell and fruit flies were all over the fountain drink area. I will be back to try it again at a later date. This place has potential of being in my opinion a great restaurant. Update from owners comments. We were going to return and possibly give a better review. Obviously a picture is worth a 1000 words and leaves no room for misunderstandings. First, stop lying about you going to talk to us. No one was there except a young lady who was very nice and courteous. Never discussed refund with anyone, and my wife only ate about 3 bites of the burger. I'll stop here and just say people go and try for your selves.
