Applebee's Grill - Ardmore

The hand-battered fish and chips were crispy and absolutely delicious. The fish was fluffy, juicy, and beautifully seasoned, though it came with a side of somewhat bland but decent tartar sauce. We also tried the steaks, ordering one well-done and one medium-rare. My wife found her well-done steak quite tough, but mine was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection, which can be tricky for a takeout order! The onion rings, however, were overcooked and mostly batter with very little onion, making them hard to enjoy. The waffle fries were good, as were the broccoli and green beans on the side. Overall, everything was solid, and I would definitely order again for the family. I’d give it an 8/10.

The steak was burnt and overcooked. The Chicken Quesadilla had very little chicken and did not come with any sour cream. I ordered sweet tea but received regular tea instead, and there was no silverware provided.

The 2 for $25 deal tends to be priced a bit higher in the app than it should be, but it's still a good value. I really love the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders; however, it can be inconsistent when ordering it for takeout.

So steak was rare not medium rare but was ok with that mac had barley a splash of cheese on it amd pretzel had no salt not great

We visited when there were only two other couples in the restaurant, but it took quite some time for someone to seat us. The food was tasty, but the service was a bit slow. I appreciate this Applebee's location; the local history and displayed landmarks create a nice atmosphere for conversation. Aside from the wait for seating, I have no complaints and will definitely return. I'll update my review as needed.
