Cafè Alley - Ardmore

I dined at Cafe Alley with a friend from work while on a business trip. The restaurant had been recommended by some of the locals, and also by another friend from work who had visited previously. We almost didn't stop, because the entrance marked for parking was closed off by a temporary fence, but we investigated further and found our way to parking behind the building. The restaurant is in what appears to have once been a produce warehouse, but it is very clean and well maintained, with the evidence of its former life giving it character. The hosts and servers were pleasant and knowledgeable, and we were waited on promptly. I hade the Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and it is not hyperbole to say the it is the best I have ever had. My friend and I both enjoyed our visit, and I would recommend Cafe Alley to anyone visiting the Ardmore area. I plan to eat there again the next time I am in town. Parking: When I visited, there was a sign directing traffic to a parking lot, but the entrance was blocked by a temporary fence. We almost went on without stopping, but we found that, by turning onto a small street at the other end of the building, we were able to find our way to parking behind the restaurant. Had such a wonderful dinning experience at Cafe Alley. Ordered Short Smoked Salmon and Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Salmon perfectly done, delicious and just mouth watering. Blackened Chicken Alfredo was succulent and the Alfredo was so tasty. The carrot cake is soft and moist, the frosting is more like heavenly whipped cream and the pecans are baked to perfection. On the service side, our server Cody provided super friendly and ready to please. Manager Ginger made her rounds greeting each customer and was very professional and gave a bit of Ardmore history as well as the family owned restaurant. Will certainly come back.
