El Patron Subs Grill - Arden

Definitely try the Quesadilla plate! The pork al pastor is my favorite choice. Their tacos are just like street tacos, but without the street and food truck vibe. I live right across from El Patrón, and it's my top pick for a Mexican restaurant. By the way, they open at 6:00, and the full menu is available!

Located in a gas station, the atmosphere may not be fancy, but this place undoubtedly serves the best Mexican food in Asheville, without a doubt.

After many months of watching my coworkers eat their lunches and smelling the aromas of a fresh cooked handmade burger, I could resist no longer to find out where such a purchase was being made. To my surprise I was sent up the street to a local gas and convenience store with a small restaurant inside. El Patron. I had to have one of these burgers I'd heard so much about. I ordered the Super Burger, topped with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and grilled mushrooms. A side of fresh, crisp, hot fries accompanied my burger. I sunk my teeth in and was immediately enlightened to what my coworkers had known for so long. This place makes a delicious burger! They make it fast, they make it with a smile, and it's price is on point! I am looking forward to exploring their menu further but now know I can always count on them for a delicious handmade burger. Try it for yourself one day, you won't regret it!

Fantastic fast food with a wide variety of options! The horchata is absolutely the best!

The food here is legit!! I had the Al Pastor tacos, and the chicken tacos and both were really good! I didn't try any of their subs, but have heard good things about the non Hispanic food on the menu. Was looking for a good taco ? spot on the Southside of town, and this place slaps!!Parking: It's in a gas station with plenty of parking, especially on the side where the door to the restaurant is located
