Lovely meal: the Secreto was excellent, the presa too. The Revuelto de jamón with onions was delicious; I even tried the pork liver free tapa to start and for the first time in my life, I enjoyed liver. Great service. Will definitely return.
Went here for lunch on a Sunday, it opens until 4:30, no opening in the evening. Food was excellent, the region is famous for Jamon, mushrooms, chestnuts and cheese. I had a bit of everything and quality was top notch. Definitely one of top restaurants to visit if you are in the area. Staff were very professional and friendly.
We stayed in Aracena for 4 days at the end of March 2017. We were lucky enough to get a table in the evening at Restaurant Jose Vincente and it was fantastic ! What was particularly amazing is that on that particular evening, our host, presumably Jose himself was running solo. He was host, sommelier, waiter and chef all at the same time and the food and service were exceptional. Even though he had no English and we had very little Spanish, he was able to help us choose a great wine and select what was best that day from the menu. After a delicious appetizer on the house of calves liver slices with cilantro, my wife had the recommended artichoke hearts and I had a freshly made gazpacho with a side plate of tomato, croutons, iberica ham and diced cucumber.....delicious ! Main course was chargrilled iberica pork for my wife and probably the most delicious entrecôte steak I have ever had......sensational. Mr Vincente is a culinary genius and as the restaurant received about a further 12 guests through the evening he remained unphased by this and carried on all of the above roles on his own. Quite outstanding !!
Leaving behind the more than surprising extreme and before arriving at the capital of Andalusia, our next destination, little deviation' improvised to enter the onubense town of aracena and enjoy all so kindness; of so places: the castle, the moeo of the ham and the indispensable visit to the cave of wonders' and also, of course, of its gastronomy.The second person offered us a chance, the chosen one menu that left us quite indifferent and did not meet the expectations generated after reading some of the reviews on two specialized websites.Local interior air-conditioned, with good and professional service at table and, so, with generous dishes that, for our gout, were quite basic,' little elaborated.
