I gave them 4 stars today for several reasons. 1. The buffet that was served today was from certain things, both times that I went through. 2. The salad was only green and although it was filled again, we had to ask her. 3. My desert was strawberry cheesecake and the crust was overcooked. 4. The chicken was a little overcooked. The larger pieces were good, but the smaller pieces were obviously boiled for the same time they dried out a little. With all that said the meal was really good different. The food I went through the buffet line was well prepared. The vegetables were pretty good and well seasoned. Their roles were also very good. All in all, we were satisfied with the meal, but we felt that certain aspects would have been better. This is especially due to the fact that we had to pay before the time to receive and keep our reservation. This price included bliss that we could not change according to the fact. I come back on a day where they are not so busy to see if this changes the experience and I would certainly recommend that you also try it for yourself if you are so inclined.
We stopped in for dinner and everything was delicious! Our server’s name was Dierdre she and everyone there were so nice and kind to us, to the kiddos. It was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!
Good size room with private bathroom. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast both days. Worth stopping by for brunch or dinner if you are in the area.
This is the one place where I can offer a blanket recommendation to try anything on the menu. Its all always delicious and wonderfully presented, and they have amazing friendly staff who are more than helpful accommodating food/allergy restrictions for gluten and dairy free customers.
Great location central to Historical Appomattox, VA. A charming place, with a quaint and familial ambiance. The establishment employes local talent, so they represent small businesses well in this area. They have a diverse menu that appeals to a variety of discerning guests. The menu clearly identifies gluten free and vegan options. The staffed professionals are friendly and accommodating even to the most challenging of dining guests. Food was fairly marketed and had solid appeal to western dietary accustomed children and more worldly adults. We would recommend making arrangements to dine here and soak up the appeal of refined country charm. Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly
