Dick Joan's 220 Club - Appleton

Good food, but extremely bizarre furnished for a dinner club. Salad bar contained a fraction of what it should have had hot bacon dressing for a spinach salad that wasn't even outside. We were told that we were unable to order drinks at the table, so after we were asked to consume our drinks around the crowded bar, we had to deliver our orders while standing. In the time we sat, our drinks were gone and true, their words, they would bring us nothing else, including soda, but there were pitchers of water on the table. The main dishes were good, but the experience was terrible.

Meh. The meal was adequate, not very flavorful. The wait in the bar was well over the time we were told it would be, but they had two company Christmas parties in the dining room. The bar was comfortable and the drinks were long pour. Nothing wrong, not going to return though.Hubby had steak chicken with broasted potatoes and I had perch with a twice baked potato.

We always have a good time there. Salad bar was great but my steak was a little too overdone. I asked for pink and couldn't find any. They have a new policy where you have to know exactly what you want before they will send a waitress to take your order. Uncomfortable for me as we didn't have room to sit to talk with the couple we met there.

Food has always been good, drinks have always been strong. Service is usually decent, but the bartending personality can be sub par. The woman bar tender can have a short attitude and can be rude at times. Honestly, I tend to avoid going there because of her. But, I go there because of the food, not the drinks. If I could give it a 3.75 I would.

Have been here several times and never a bad meal. No reservations taken and always busy but we'll worth the wait. Prices for food and drink are very reasonable in today's world.Food: 5/5
