TGI FRIDAYS - Appleton

Today is TGI Friday, so we decided to enjoy a nice meal at a reasonable price. The staff was attentive and the manager even stayed during our meal. We encountered two small issues, but both were resolved to my satisfaction. The hostess was unaware of my OpenTable reservation, but since the program was new, I chalked it up to a training issue. The other problem was that I do not like paprika at all. The menu did not mention it, but my pretzel chicken sandwich came with a significant amount of it. I spoke to the manager, who agreed that it shouldn't have been there but couldn't control the menu. He offered to replace my dish, but I had already removed the paprika and enjoyed my sandwich. While I realize most people wouldn't be bothered by this, it did slightly detract from an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

The other issue was that I do not like paprika in any form, and although it was not listed on the menu, the Brezel chicken sandwich had some on it. I brought this to the manager's attention, and while he acknowledged the mistake, he did not update the menu. He offered to replace my order, but I had already removed the paprika and enjoyed the sandwich. While this may not bother most people, it did affect my overall enjoyment of an otherwise pleasant meal.

There are so many decorations on the walls! The drinks are fantastic, the people are friendly, and the food is delicious! The customer service at this place is top-notch without a doubt.

While the service could have been better (possibly due to a new or trainee server), the food was outstanding. My only suggestion would be to have more comfortable and accommodating seating.

I have fond memories of this TGI Fridays. I used to come here with my grandma and cousin for drinks when I would visit. Unfortunately, now everyone lives too far away...
