Del Taco - Anthem

My husband wanted to celebrate Father's Day with this meal, and we were treated poorly during our visit. We decided to eat outside, but the area was filthy, and I ended up having to clean it up myself. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal if they hadn't already messed up our order and displayed such a bad attitude. This has been the worst Del Taco experience I've ever had!

I had an amazing experience at Del Taco, the best I’ve ever had. The employee who took our order was visibly happy to be there and ensured our order was completely accurate before giving us a total. Unfortunately, the lobby was closed, but the cashier explained they were understaffed. I noticed inside that there was just the cashier and one cook, and they were both hustling to make everything run smoothly. All the food was served hot and tasted great. I did have to wait about 5 minutes in the parking lot, but other than that, everything was perfect. My order came to nearly $58. Thank you so much!

I used to be a regular at this place when I lived nearby, but unfortunately, after three recent visits, I’ve been really disappointed. I even tipped $10 yesterday to encourage the staff, but today it was worse than ever. They really need to visit a proper Del Taco in Barstow for reference. All I wanted was soft tacos, which should be simple enough, right? The lettuce was brown and unappetizing, the tortillas were empty, and it was just a miserable experience overall. I’d rather go to Taco Bell, and I’m not a fan of it, but at least it's more reliable than this place. Plus, the lobby is closed, so there’s no way to bring up these issues in person. It’s really disappointing.

This location is disgusting. I should've left right when I walked in and saw how filthy the dining area was. This was about three months ago but felt I should still write a review because it was so terrible. We got carne asada fries and they looked like dog food. The meat was burnt and looked like it was days old and scraped off the floor. A health inspector needs to visit this location as I am sure there are many violations. And the few positive reviews have to be written by someone trying to help them out, there are too many reviews like mine to believe the positive ones. Do yourself a favor and skip this place, it's that bad.

We spotted here for dinner, we normally love del taco, but now when I think of it I want to throw up. On walking in I should have walked out, the floors were sticky and not a clean table in sight. Another family came in with their dog, which isn?t sanitary and they let them stay. The shells were stale but we ate a few tacos because we were starved and threw the rest away. We had to drive to the gas station because bathrooms were disgusting as well. I hate to give a Del taco a bad review but this place is a mess.
