These days, when I’m at the house on my own I eat here at least a couple of times a week and always take new visitors in, just for the experience.At less than twelve euros for a meal that consists of a self-selection buffet with at least twenty different dishes ranging from carrot rappe to rillettes and seafood mouse to pasta. I could almost settle for the entrée. There is always a choice of two main courses, be they comfit duckling, braised beef, stuffed tomatoes, chicken thighs and always a fish on Fridays. This is followed by a cheese platter, a choice of dessert and finally coffee. Throughout lunch the wine flows freely and the bread basket never empties.I’ve seen two waitresses serve over seventy covers with never a flap, always a smile and rarely a mistake in the order.Why would I cook for myself when this establishment is less than ten minutes up the road? Why indeed it takes me longer to wash up the dishes than that.The great shame is that it is only open for lunch Monday to Friday.

I could almost calm down for the entrée. there is always a choice of two main courses, whether they are comfortable escape, braided bark, filled tomato, chicken legs and always a fish on Friday. then follows a cheese plate, a selection of dessert and finally coffee. during lunch the wine flows freely and the bread basket never emptys. I have seen two waiters serve over seventy covers with never a flap, always a smile and rarely a mistake in the order. Why would I cook for me if this facility is less than ten minutes on the road? Why it really takes me longer to wash the dishes than that. the great candid is that it is open only for lunch from Monday to Friday.
Solid local joint New to the area and I've been there 3 times in my first 6 months here.
