I went to Best of Southern Soul, for the first time, to eat breakfast. I was expecting to get “traditional” breakfast. Walked in and, immediately, loved the energy. Great “meat 3”, southern cooking. I had the fried pork chop, steamed cabbage, squash casserole, fried okra, and a piece of red velvet cake. All was great. Unfortunately it is located in the middle of the Jockey Lot but the food is worth it anyway.

We are from the Charlotte area and stopped at this place to eat. All I can say is WOW! Some of the best low country boil we’ve ever eaten and super nice folks! We will definitely be back!

Best of Southern Soul Chef Brandon Rice came to our home and prepared and cooked a personalized menu to perfection for my birthday and we literally loved every bite!! We highly recommend him and his professional services! Also we have visited his restaurant in Anderson,SC and the staff was also professional and welcoming and the food there was very delicious as well! You cannot go wrong with Best of Southern Soul; amazing food!!
