Tailwater Restaurant Bar - Altmar

Our meals were very good. We had 2 appetizers that we shared. We had 6 in our party; orders included salmon, scallops, meatloaf, pork medallions, vegetable risotto with lobster. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our waitress, Kimberly, was attentive, and made good suggestions. The decor is rustic and appropriate for the setting. The only downside is that the sound is not absorbed by the hard surfaces. We will return!

We ate at Tailwater for Thanksgiving. We had lunch about noon. The food was great! Our waitress was great! We always have an amazing experience every single time we visit! Than you for always being THE restaurant we can always count on for amazing food and an amazing dining experience!

I made a reservation and requested a quiet table which due to the openness between the bar and dining room doesn't really exist. The hostess initially put us at a table in the bar area. When we objected, she had to speak with her manager to place us at a table in the dining room. We did get a table in the dining room but it was still excessively noisy from the bar. When our server came over she immediately apologized for the noise. Our server, Kimberly was exceptional! She was very personable and attentive throughout our dinner! Our dinner was very tasty. If I could offer any constructive criticism it would be that the soup be a little warmer. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Menu was varied enough that everyone in our group found something they wanted. The food was delicious. The waitress was fantastic! The tables were not crowded together , the atmosphere was great. We all loved it!

The food was excellent, but the prices were a bit high. My wife and father-in-law ordered the fried chicken dinner, which included just one piece of chicken along with sides for $34. The flavor was impressive. The waitstaff was friendly, but the kitchen was a bit slow considering how few customers were present.
