Kuzina Mediterranean - Altena

It was my first time in Altena, and I got surprised, both by the village and the food. Was really lovely at that time, and it must be also in spring and cold days.Hard to rate the cuisine performance for a non skilled guy, I can just say I found that really nice.And also nice to have a long drink after the desert in the terrace.

I had dinner here with my extended family for a special occasion. We were seated in at a long table in a separate room from the rest of the restaurant, which provided a nice semi-private setting. The views from two of the sides of the restaurant, as well as the season terrace are excellent and offer a view of the Lenne river and the town's promenade along it.The restaurant's menu features a regional Greek cousin along the lines of lamb, souvlaki, feta and fish. I had an excellent tomato soup and lamb shank dish, the later of which came with a side of fresh vegetables.The service was incredibly polite, attentive, and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Altena.

Visits on a lunchtime for a work trip. Had falafels and salad. The food was good, the staff was friendly and fast service.
