Locale Kitchen Lounge - Alpine

The host, whose name I didn't catch, was fantastic - very friendly and welcoming. David, our server, was excellent. He provided great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. He was genuine and the food was delicious. I will definitely return.

It was a Tuesday and they had a fixed dinner menu and dining credit for club members Chopped salad was awesome and so was the Cesar salad. Eggplant Lasagna was tasty and the salmon was done well also. The caramel pretzel and butterscotch pudding was awesome Have eaten here a handful of times now and is my favorite restaurant in Viejas.

The Chopped Salad and Margherita Pizza were excellent. The Spicy Shrimp Spaghetti was fine, but too small of a portion it literally drowned in the large bowl. The Apple and Pear Cobbler with Cinnamon Ice Cream was interesting. Overall, good food.

Have eaten here a few times before. The food can be very good depending on what you order. If you order a drink (besides wine) the bartender uses so much ice that you get very less than half of the drink because of the volume of ice. You don’t get what you pay for. I’d likely eat here again but not order cocktails
