This shop brings back memories of the late 90s to early 2000's, in the past was a comic book shop.. that time it was very worth the price and you get alot of condiments in the dishes. As years gone by with inflation and ever worsening Malaysian economy everyone is trying to cut corners to earn a living. Fried rice worth a try for newbies. They never changed the taste and it gives me nostalgia back in early 2000's. Sadly, only 2 pieces of chicken. In the past it was alot. Price is now RM5, but definitely could be better with abit more condiments. Ice Kacang or ABC is ok. Nothing to be hyped about. Rm 5 is not cheap for just a simple bowl of shaved ice. I feel rm 4 would be just ok. Self service now which is another move to cut on hiring waiters foreign labour. Perhaps its due to the rmco with borders restricted and no extra hands. But hope this is not for long. Its a put off seeing that they are cutting every corner to increase profits and reducing cost at the extent of years of loyal customers. Higher priced food with less value and summore self service. No No.
Good food and open till 6.30pm. Try their laksa, pohpiah, chee cheong fun, sotong kangkung, char kuey teow, ais kacang, cendol, and dun forget try their otak otak. However hygien can be improve, alot of flies.
The food here is ordinary and most people come here when the more famous shop down the road is closed. Prices are not reflective of the area and standard, almost like Klang valley prices.
-Place isn't dirty -Definitely try the Jawa Mee! -Laksa was good. -Do NOT try the char kuey teow -Great meal for the price. Large size only around rm6
