Levante Taverna - Alikanas

We stayed next door to this restaurant I’m letting everyone know we have been alykanas twice and this place is the most traditional restaurant on the strip. This is our 3rd night in 5 and we know from first hand experience this is the best restaurant here, we tried baked feta with peppers..meat balls in sauce (better than any Italian meatballs I’ve ever had) saganaki is so soft and the beef stefado is off the chart.. lovely family run restaurant, don’t want to go home, staff are friendly and welcoming

My boyfriend and I had the seafood deal for 2 people and were really looking forward to it, but it was really disappointing. The fish was cold, tasted burnt, the octopus and squid rings were hard to chew, and the mussels tasted horrible. You could tell none of the fish was fresh. The dish came with fries, rice and salad. The rice was cold, as well. Overall, not a good experience and for the service provided, it was definitely overpriced. The staff was nice tho.

Can't speak for the hotel but the restaurant is great, only place we went to twice. The man on the door is great at his job also, not too pushy, informative and funny. Also helped that both times we were given 4 glasses of wine essentially completely free which my partner loved. Food quality was very good, and very tasty, all the staff were great and service was quick. We had the sweet donut balls as a dessert which weren't amazing however others may like them. Overall though a great restaurant with great staff

We were encouraged by the good reviews of the restaurant. The man at the entrance definitely deserves a good opinion, very friendly : And that's the only good thing for us in this place. The seafood we took was inedible (except for octopus and squid, which weren't too bad . The fish smelled and tasted stale, not to mention spoiled. Totally wasted money, we will definitely not come back a second time. The portion wasn't big either for the price. Definitely one star...

Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere, the people there are very friendly and polite, the food is great! Would definitely recommend! :
