Taverna Akrotiri - Zakynthos

This tavern is lovely, with a friendly staff and a warm family atmosphere. The appetizer selection is diverse, and they serve them on a large wooden tray, which is a unique touch. The musaka, cheese pie, and tzaziki are all highly recommended. And for dessert, the island's special Frikagna with cream and almond ice cream is a must-try - a simple yet delicious treat. They even gave us dessert wine to top off the meal.

This traditional tavern offers a wide range of mezes served at the table on a large tray, with detailed explanations of the dishes in flawless Italian. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. In my opinion, this is one of the best taverns on the island. The restaurant has a large internal parking lot lined with trees. Service is for dining in, and the meal type is dinner.

We had a wonderful time at this tavern. My mother and I enjoyed dinner during our holiday at the end of September. As someone with celiac disease, it's always a challenge to find a place where I can relax, but this tavern had a great atmosphere. The staff were trained and friendly, and there was a wide selection of gluten-free dishes. Food, service, and atmosphere all received a top rating of 5.
