Taverna Akrotiri - Zakynthos

This restaurant is fantastic, offering a variety of vegan dishes as well as options that can be made vegan. The aubergine salad was absolutely delicious and one of the best dishes I've ever had. The chickpeas and stuffed peppers/tomatoes were also exceptional choices.

We recently visited this lovely restaurant that specializes in vegan food. We have dined here multiple times and each visit has been a pleasure. The staff is attentive and if you inform them of any dietary restrictions, they will create something special for you. On our last visit, we enjoyed the delicious pasta, which was cooked to perfection with a pure and delightful taste. We also recommend trying the vegan moussaka, as they likely can prepare it for you upon request.

I tried a variety of vegan dishes at this restaurant including the spicy chickpeas, rice-stuffed vegetables, and slow-roasted okra, all of which were delicious and vegan-friendly.

We found this jewel a few days before our departure. it does not seem to be a very large space from outside, but when they go into it, it is really a more comforting place. we were very happy that the vegan dishes were clearly marked. the chef comes with a large plate of appetizers from which they can choose what they want. Although it also had meat dishes on it, they will be happy to explain what already vegan or what they can in a vegan version. eating is really authentic and tastes delicious. we have selected several appetizers and some main dishes. they also bring the first last of pita brot free. after that we got a melon and on the second day some baklava as dessert, as well as a bowl of mastixa, a Greek liqueur. overall it has made our journey to zante complete. only foreseeing the mosquitoes, they will eat you alive :d

This tavern is lovely, with a friendly staff and a warm family atmosphere. The appetizer selection is diverse, and they serve them on a large wooden tray, which is a unique touch. The musaka, cheese pie, and tzaziki are all highly recommended. And for dessert, the island's special Frikagna with cream and almond ice cream is a must-try - a simple yet delicious treat. They even gave us dessert wine to top off the meal.
