Genovese's Pizza - Alhambra

The meatball pizza and mushroom pizza were decent. I was pleasantly surprised by the meatballs; they were quite different from what I expected on a pizza but ended up tasting great. The mushroom pizza was flavorful, though it was a bit larger than I prefer. I'm curious to try the sisig fries or pizza next, as they sound intriguing.

The prices are a bit steep for a basic pepperoni pizza; it might be worth trying the signature pizzas instead. It really reminded me of cafeteria and 7-Eleven pizza. I was let down by the lack of pepperoni, and the cheese was stuck to the box. The wings were just okay.

I was pleasantly surprised when I asked for a gluten-free crust and they offered me a sample to try. This thoughtful gesture allowed me to enjoy lunch with my husband instead of having to find food elsewhere. Kudos to Gilbert for earning my business! If you're looking for gluten-free options, it's a good idea to inform the management so they can consider adding it to the regular menu.

Edit: Yup, tried getting a pie here a second time and it sucked. I rarely give 1/5's but Skateshop Pizza made it almost too easy. The only other place that's ever gotten a 1 was a McDonalds in Philly that missed every order note and left us missing 2entire burgers and gave his attitude when I came back to confront them. Recap: Their food is terrible. Hit up Papa John's fortheir new NY pie instead. Our pepperoni deck tasted like school cafeteria pizza but for $22. 2 out of 6 Korean wings tastedlike eating pure salt. The mac n cheese had a very strong plastic taste to it. The ranch was okay. We were hungry when weordered and we stayed hungry when it was delivered because we threw it all away.

Came to support a family friend?s local business and we were not disappointed with the taste of their pizzas. The supreme pizza and the sisig pizza are the best!
