Staff was friendly and prompt with service. The drinks were excellent and the food was delicious. My 8 year old loved the Spanish rice and she rarely finishes her meal, this one was gone. She even asked to return again. I ordered the combination plate while my husband got the burrito. The potatoes inside tasted like fresh homemade instead of frozen. Everything was great and I'm excited to try more from their menu
One of our favorite parts of the Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn was the fact that breakfast was included but it's the nicest free breakfast we've ever had! It's a restaurant that's connected to the hotel, and it was fabulous! We got 4 vouchers for our breakfasts, and it was so nice to be able to roll out of bed and into this lovely little restaurant! I was thrilled that they had gluten free options the gluten free avocado toast was delicious!
Friendly service, pretty decent coffee. I had the Chilaqules, tortilla chips smothered in chile and cheese, and topped with eggs. As a local, I was surprised and delighted that the Hatch green chile had a nice bite-I was expecting a milder version because this restaurant is part of the Best Western, which serves out of towners.
Somebody needs to change the name on Yelp from Albuquerque bar and grill to the wild avocado Cork tap. The food is very good here. I had to tamales with beans and Spanish rice for $11. Salsa and chips are free. Some restaurants do charge. It was good.
The local combo is pretty delicious. Next time, I'm adding fried avacado. That will be culinarily outrageous. I didn't take a photo because I tipped it on the way back to the room. I couldn't tell where the homemade tamale started and the enchiladasended.
