The Store on Frederick - Albany

I have enjoyed many visits to this great cafe for Breakfasts, lunches and sneaky coffee and cake visits. Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup are my breakfast favourite but others love anything with the Rhonda's garlic mushrooms.Coffee is beautiful and I always take one away as a roadie.

We found this place by accident while driving out of Albany. Stopped for takeaway coffee and it was delicious! Wish we could have stopped and eaten in as the food looked lovely. Very characterful and a lovely lady who served us.

The whole of Albany had a power cut so many of the businesses were closed - we stopped by The Store on Frederick and was told no coffee was available but they could provide tea and a cooked breakfast. The array of home cooked muffins and scones looked delicious. The bearded guy behind the counter did a great job - and so did the ladies in the kitchen - making toast on a little camp stove and the scrambled eggs and bacon were perfect. He also followed us out as I had left my phone behind. Great service. Definitely worth a visit...

Small interesting cafe, with friendly helpful staff, really good quality food, we've been for breakfast, and lunch, and sampled a wide range of their menu, and can recommend everything!

Best value for a light lunch or just coffee and cake. The menu is limited but the payoff is that it is always fresh and tasty. Friendly and efficient staff. A nice place to relax in slightly quirky surrounds.
